Help Paying my Bill
Eligibility
Mission Community Hospital offers a variety of options available to our patients who are uninsured or underinsured, including discounts, no interest payment plans, and financial assistance or charity care. If you are facing a financial hardship, as a Inpatient here at Mission Community Hospital we do refer patients to RISARC (third party entity) to complete a Medi-cal application while you are in the hospital. You can also explore other government programs that may be of assistance. If you do not qualify for those programs, or if you have a substantial financial liability despite having insurance, you may qualify for our financial assistance and charity care program.
You may qualify for financial assistance based on your family size and income, even if you have health insurance. Financial assistance may not cover all health costs, including services provided by other organizations. Assistance is awarded if you meet the financial assistance guidelines which include if your household income is 400% of less of the Federal Poverty Level.
