After graduation, she started practicing medicine in Bangladesh and saw the impact that doctors can have on people&#8217;s lives. This inspired her to pursue a career in family medicine, as she believes it would be a privilege to partner with patients and help them achieve total wellness throughout their lives. During her residency, she hopes to learn from her patients and help them reach their health goals. She is interested in specializing in geriatric medicine and would like to pursue a fellowship in that field after completing her residency. He attended Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. After graduating in the top quartile of his class, he immigrated to the United States to pursue a career in Family Medicine. In 2022, he was accepted into the UCLA International Medical Graduate (IMG) Program. He saw the impact of social determinants on health outcomes while completing this program, solidifying his interest in becoming a family physician. His goal as a resident is to provide equitable healthcare with an emphasis on immigrant and refugee health. When not practicing medicine, Kayvon plays soccer and trains at the gym. In his final year, Dr. Dai chose to defer applying for residency in order to gain a broader perspective on healthcare through entrepreneurship, pharmaceuticals, and global health. She then pursued her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. As a first-generation college and medical school graduate, Dr. Kaur is deeply committed to improving healthcare access, particularly among underserved and low-income communities. Her professional interests include addiction medicine, patient advocacy, and preventive medicine with a focus on providing full-spectrum, patient-centered care. Dr. Kaur is excited to work with the diverse local community of Los Angeles and further develop her skills in primary care. She is a fourth-generation doctor, following in the footsteps of her parents, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dr. Maria graduated with honors from Altai State Medical University and upon graduation, began working at a Coronavirus Hospital at the start of the pandemic. During her studies at the university, she conducted research in physiology, worked as a nurse, and volunteered at the hospital. Dr. Maria chose family medicine because she likes the opportunity to be able to treat a variety of diseases and work with patients of all ages. She loves medicine with all her heart and is passionate about helping patients in need.
